dpf's, catalytic converters - they all break down and need servicing every set number of miles. is that the solution? plus the waste more fuel apart from the co2 they produce to make these things in the first place.

Start/stop is bad for your engine. What's worst than stop an engine running when it's hot. Turbo doesn't get cool oil and what about cilinderheads?

The best way is buy a petrol engine oh and spec without start stop |

thats what i plan to do next time, just hope they dont fit particulate filters to petrols now |

I used to hate stop start, but now I have one avoiding it cutting in is easy.

i had it in a loan car recently and found it un-nerving, kinda felt like you were loosing control of the vehicle.. ... - .- -.

Hi Guys not the usual start stop question,I have a 2014 MY, intelligent start stop does not work until I remove battery terminal then replace it ....the intelligent stop start works fine , I then put it away for the night next day will not work, again ...remove battery terminal then replace it works again fine, I have new batteries so not those, Any ideas??

Think I have sorted it,taken it out of auto select to manual and it's now working fine |
