I have found a little Chinese amp that I think might do the trick waiting for it to be delivered will post an update if it works. I now know where to fit it so will let you know if it works. |

Chinese amp installed and works a treat sound now better than my parrot on the wife's jeep.

Ron ULF low volume I believe comes with the mk4 dvd satnav upgrade |

The amp has an led display but it doesn’t keep the car awake have had no problems with mine. |
