2019 Range Rover SVAutobiography 5.0 SC V8 Barolo Black

Bit of help needed.

Hi all,

New to Land Rover ownership and loving my MY12 L322 Westminster. Could the members help with a switch in the engine compartment.

I’ve found a black switch with vertical pin that located at the back of the engine compartment on the left hand side - it was taped down. Not sure what it’s controlling or what it’s meant to be in contact with.

Does anyone know what it’s for and should I retake it up so far there doesn’t appear to do anything! Which I know that can’t be true

2003 Range Rover Vogue 4.4 V8 Zambezi Silver

It could be the bonnet switch for the alarm.

If it is then it’s looking likely that the previous owner had a problem with the alarm and determined that this switch was at fault...

Not expensive at all to replace if it is..

Thanks guys - thought it might be alarm related but haven’t had any false alarms or it going off at 2am. Will keeps weather eye out or should I say ears!
