Hi mate I have been experiencing problems for last two weeks with my infotainment system I put it down to a battery disconnect also I have bypassed all relevant modules checked all fuses done hard reset no joy I have now resorted to buying a new head unit. These units are very temperamental and don't like battery disconnect or low voltage. What are you getting Land Rover screen or nothing? Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 SDV8 SVO Stying Pack

Yes best option as it can only be a defective head unit and after all they are over 10 years old plus if you look about on fleabay you can pick up 2008 model for about £200. Instead of the £2500 price tag of a brand new one😂😂 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 SDV8 SVO Stying Pack

Well we tried two head units and nothing. The only thing left is to put it on the laptop and see if there is anything there. |

Hello did you disconnect the battery and let it power down. Or just plug it in. |

Sorry I will put it a bit better. How did you fit your new one. Did you let it power down and then disconnect the battery, or just plug it in. |

No I never disconnected battery I just connected all the wires and pressed the power on button mate it's really strange you got no power going to the head unit it could only be one thing a blown fuse! Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 SDV8 SVO Stying Pack

I have power to the head unit and the radio unit and amp but still nothing. There is no red light coming out of the fibre optic. I think the ecu maybe in safe mode. I just have to get on the computer now and see what's going on. |

How you getting on mate never heard of ecu safe mode to be honest there should be light out of the fibre optic cable if there is power present. Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 SDV8 SVO Stying Pack

Well just an update on my radio problem. It's fixed, it was the radio receiver box behind the main screen that went faulty. Radio all up and work now, including the most system. |
