Pins required for TV unit

Does anyone know where I can buy the small female pins for the blue plug that goes into the TV unit in the boot. I've got some corroded ones and I need to fit some new ones.

TIA

You can steal some from the mobile phone connector, even if you do the BMW ULF upgrade there are pins left over

Good idea. Ideally I wanted new ones so that I can keep the wiring colours as they are, rather than having a soldered joint with a different colour wire.

Pins for video unit

Video Module plug wiring - The Video Module input pins are ~1x 1.25mm, so you will have to find appropriate receptacles that will fit into the moulded plugs.

The correct female contacts for the modular plug frame are called ‘Short Point Rectangular Contact’ socket pins. They are 11.7mm long with a 5mm long rectangular end that is 1.5 x 1.75mm. Mouser Electronics Part # A28327-ND.

These are almost impossible to get, however most 2 x 2mm receptacles socket pins will fit, you just need to bend the springy contact in a little to ensure good contact before use. You can find these readily on ebay.

You must use thin wires that will fit into the 2 x 2 mm core moulding in the plug frame and then bend beneath the retaining guides; thicker wires (or bad soldering) will prevent assembly of the 2 part plugs!
