Sat Nav Issue

Morning all 😄

My sat nav has a started to reset to unusual settings. Every time I want to use it it I have to change the region back to UK.

Other settings also change but my stored locations are still there.

Is there anything I can check / change? It's very annoying Censored

Thanks

It's been a while since I posted but I am still having this problem. I've searched the forum and google in general but not yet found a solution,

I have removed the sat nav unit in the boot and checked the wiring, no evidence of any water ingress and all plugs and sockets look fine.

When I switch on the unit the following has changed:

Country - changed to Belgium
Compass - I normally have it set so I am always heading up but it changes direction
Voice - I normally have the voice guidance turned off but this reverts to turned on
Arrival time - this changes to travel time

No stored locations or previous destinations are lost and nothing is lost on the radio or TV.

I presume there is a permanent supply feeding the unit but would have thought other bits of equipment would have similar problems if the fuse had blown (fuse 49?)

Is there anywhere else to check for loose connections or water ingress or is it likely to be a faulty unit?

I had the same issues and like others couldn't find a definitive solution. I lived with it until I updated the DVD and that resolved it. 2012 TDV8 Westminster in the New Forest

Cheers Saun,

I did an update last year, perhaps I will try and reinstall it to see if that fixes it.

I agree it's a loose lead. When I had my battery disconnected I had to reset the region.
. Cheers, Greg

I have sat nav issues in mine whereby I cannot control the sat nav voice volume and the estimated time of arrival is about 11 hours longer than it should be but I can't find anything wrong with it anywhere or any settings that have changed to rectify this.
