3.6 fuel leak at filter

I've just experienced a big fuel leak at the top of the filter housing. It looks like one of the clips holding a fuel line has failed. Part number WJP501400. See diagram below. Anyone else had this? Should I replace all four hoses?
Thanks

Are you sure the clip has failed? I had a similar one and the pipe hadn't been pushed on properly. Required a significant push to get it to latch properly.

Just may not have been pushed on properly if it's been recently changed. Ed

Thanks for the suggestion Ed. But I'm certain it's broken. The blue button on one side has broken off. The connector disconnects from the filter housing by depressing the bottons on each side of the connector. As button is broken there's no resistance and it compresses on one side. Here's a pic of the missing/broken button.

If they're easy to source (rather than having to ship from the UK) I'd just replace the one but keep an eye on the others. If they're not moved they shouldn't self disintegrate.

However if you're going to be stumped for shipping it may be worth getting all of them just in case. After all they're (hopefully) all the same age so in a similar condition. Ed

Thanks again. I suspect some of the hoses might have been replaced as the hose is darker. I'll have a closer look tomorrow in the daytime. Here another pic of the housing. Sorry if it seems I'm drip feeding pics.

No worries, I'm bored waiting for some numpties to balance a set of supposedly unbalanceable wheels (BFG KM/2s). Funny thing is if I'd been in Wales the local garage with a good old fashioned level based one would have done it by now...

Looks like 4 are older? One of them being the one that's leaking. Ed

The online parts diagram indicate this pipe is the supply pipe for the fuel fired air heater. Can anyone confirm this?

If so it should be low pressure right?

Thanks ______________________________

My interim solution as no parts in Australia. Fuel injector hose and hose clamps.

Everything on the fuel filter side should be low pressure (high pressure side in this engine is 23,900PSI so rubber hoses, I don't think so Whistle ). They're all the metal pipes running along by the injectors. Ed

Thanks Ed, that's reassuring as we are doing a day trip tomorrow. I was hoping this would be on a return line. So true low pressure. ______________________________

The 160km round trip happened without any leaks. Very happy. All good until the parts arrive. Replacing all four hoses. ______________________________

Can't beat jubly clips!!

Always have a few spares knocking around, you never know what you might need them for, have repaired quite a few non hose related problems with jubilee clips too😁 There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜
