Could be a sticky secondary inlet isolation valve. |

Well it was confirmed as the air inlet manifold having split along the inner seam.

Replace the 4 short rubber Hoses and clean the MAPF at the same time and it will run like a new one. G reg 2.5VM Vogue Portofino red 1991- 1999

A new manifold includes new connecting hoses. |

That's got the older style rubbers on it, so nice shiny new ones will be fitted! Seems to be problematic the whole intake system on the 4.4's Current: TDV8 (3.6) RRS HSE
