Bit confused here lads. Thanks for all the replies but does that mean both the plenum chamber and the actual inlet manifold can crack then?

Yes. The pipes x 4 which go onto the plenum doughnut can often split and cause RP. But a high pressure smoke test on mine showed a small leak in the inlet manifold on the pax side.
