Just got asked by a body shop - is the panel steel or aluminium.
It's steel, right?

Place a piece of kitchen roll against the body panel (to avoid scratching it), and place a magnet on the panel, if it
hangs on its steel, if not then its aluminiium.

I did this for a neighbour on his new Jag to see what were steel or aluminium panels.
