Black Smoke on acceleration

Read various threads on the forum over the last few days about this, It is nothing new but thought Id share my rationale as to why I chose Britpart hose over the genuine one.

Over the past few weeks I started noticing black smoke on acceleration and started my research. I have been lucky as it was only a split on the top right turbo hose pipe and nothing major.

Contacted the dealer as I couldnt get one delivered before the weekend. The part was in stock for £43. On my way I thought of dropping by an Indy Specialist who also appears to stock parts. He had both the genuine part and OEM when I seen the two it was very easy to decide which one as the genuine one has a nylon mesh sleeve where as the Britpart one was enforced with rubber sleeve on the section which is prone do damage.

Thougth I'd share why I chose Britpart. Current:
- L560 Velar HSE R-Dynamic D180
- Peugeot 508 2011 - 2.2 HDi GT

Past:
- FFRR V 2010 - 3.6 TDV8
- Citroen C4 1.6i Petrol
- Mitsubishi Shogun 3.2 DID
- Peugeot 607 2.2 HDi
- Nissan Primera 1.8 SVE
- Honda Civic 1.6 VTEC
