last years quote was £216, this years £306 an increase of £90..i thought insurance was supposed to come down each year ...

I agree with all of the above, but was pleasantly surprised with my renewal quote from Tesco last month which had only gone up by £20, so I just paid it and didn't complain.

Mine for my Roadster and RR went up from about £700 last year to £1800 this year! They wanted £2100 initially, but I never let them get away with the first price they quote.

When you consider the level of risk that they're taking on and how expensive cars and people are to fix now, it's pretty amazing how anyone makes a living out of it!

my saga continues, no literally it does ....contacted SAGA and they quoted me £229 which is £77 lees than my renewal quote with admiral and only £13 more than last year..me is happy now.. ... ... - .- -.

I was with Saga for several years when I had my Td6 but as soon as I upgraded to 4.4 the quotes rocketed despite 30yrs+ NCB and nil points etc.

i think my competitive saga quote was the result of my wife also having their insurance..anyway it will do till next year when i'll be doing the comparison sites again.. ... - .- -.

^ True about the postcode part. They quoted £2400 for ours when other were a lot less than a third of that.
