ok so looked at the owners manual which tells you the capacities. Did a further digging and now understand it's 75w 90. I will be using a fully synthetic oil so that's fine.

The transfer box is a specific LR oil.

yeah I read on one of the other threads showing an LR bottle reading Special Transfer Oil but the owner manual says it's Shell TF 0753 which upon further investigation is 75w 90.

I'm waiting for the rain to stop to get on with this and servicing, I bought the diff fluid "Castrol" from Opie oils and the transfer fluid from Dan, genuine L/R stuff Current: TDV8 (3.6) RRS HSE

the L/R trans oil is £22 per litre from Dan

nothing to do with diffs, but just looking at your handbook picture, I thought so, the fuel tank on the 4.4TDV8 is smaller than the 3.6 or TD6 for that matter.

more efficient so needs less fuel but still gets the same range, hadn't noticed myself however it did seem a bit cheaper to fill up..... There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

You will have a locking centre diff but as to an active rear diff there will be wires and a plug on the top.
