You need some kit from furniture clinic iirc. You need to basically strip & re paint the area. |

I've had a td6 and a 3.6tdv8 neither of them did this! But my 4.4tdv8 and a lot of them when I was looking have this problem Current: TDV8 (3.6) RRS HSE

Are the sides real leather or just vinyl ? Most vehicles only use real leather on the tops and vinyl in the lower areas. |

Looked at a number of L405 recently aged about 2.5 to 4 years old and the driver's seat leather has not looked great... Light leather looking cracked on the seat edges and on both dark and light colours, query dye stains on leather or unsightly stains that actually look like seat is wet. Maybe some of the stains due to careless owners but still plenty of unsightly soiled seats. |

I reckon it's down to the leather.. my dad had am old Toyota Cressida 1979 model. it's a classic car with full.leather interior and when you look at the seats you would never know they have been out there for so many years.. Current:

That crumple point is down to the squash that happens when you swivel in and out of the car.

You right.. I'm dead careful too unfortunately the damage has been done by the previous owner.. Did you get it filled and then dye put on ? Current:
