Don't know about with auto access height, but I've rather got to like my deplorable side steps.

I hate them - ours are permanently switched off. |

I love them, as does the rest of the family. Definitely a "must have" for us from now on.

It was my modest attempt at humour and I really don't like tham - have now switched them off on the loaner and cannot wait for my new car sans deplorable running boards! |

I hated mine but soon grew to love them! They can be very handy when getting in and out when a car is a bit to close plus they are a bit of a head turner and crowd pleaser 2010 defender utility

I think I'm with you on this one. I think it was MY 15.5 onwards that included auto access mode and it does make a big difference to getting in and out. Although I've noticed the system is better on MY 16 cars than it was on my 15.5.

Auto access was on MY16+, not 15.5 |

Not sure how my 2015 MY 15.5 had it then? |

What ever happened to just pressing a button near the mirror switch just before you exit.

Not sure how my MY 2015.5 doesn't. If you have gesture tailgate and seat heating control on the temperature setting knobs, then yours is a MY 2016. |

My next car will have these electric disability ramps. I don't need them (I suspect they will be a pain for me) but my 5'0" wife can't get in the car if she's wearing a tight skirt. As I like her to wear tight skirts, I'll take the downside. |
