Don't drive the RR during the week so by the time it gets to the weekend its covered in dust and rain marks, so thinking of a waterproof car cover. There are a few on eBay for less than £100, look pretty standard. Anyone got one and care to share their experience so far? Jordan

I have one for my classic and it cost £90.00 on the bay. Not soft lined but for the money I was very impressed. It has two unstraps for windy locations plus the elasticated bottom fringe hugs the car well and so far (12 months) is lasting well with no tears or fading etc. |

There is a post on the forum about high quality covers. Not cheap but apparently very good. I'd suggest to have a bit of a look around |

Seems like its not really worth it. Rather spend the money keeping the car clean more often! Jordan

We make covers for a living, it's what we do. Believe it or not showmen (fairground operators) are very fussy about some covers and we do a lot for showmen. When you've paid thousands of £££ to have rounding boards hand painted you want them looked after in transit. We also do covers for high end prams, toys, machines and other equipment. ALL of the lightweight covers stand a good chance of marking paint, and the reason being is they flap or "ripple" in the wind. Anything that we make that has to cover paintwork or a fragile surface is made from a heavy duty (12oz) ripstop Poly cotton canvas then lined with a suitable material for the job. They also have a multitude of ties built in that must be used.
