Removing mud flaps

I obviously haven't got a Range Rover yet, but I have seen a few which I like but they have mud flaps. I know mud flaps are good for keeping the car clean but they're not my thing. I like the car being the way It came with no exterior add ons. If I bought one with them how do you remove them? I heard that to get the front ones on you have to drill into the body, so if I take them off there will be holes? Not sure if I got that correct but I'm wondering if someone can direct me.

Thanks

yes, to fit front flappies the lower grp panels need to be drilled, either do a swop with another owner off the forum who likes flappies or replace with new and spray.

Rear flappies bolt through the lip so can be removed ok

er, no, having just fitted rear flaps, you have to drill two holes into the side bumper in order to fit them properly. I did a photo how to, it's on here somewhere .

I had mine fitted at the dealer when i bought the car, no side bolts. However there are fitting holes and the instructions show the bolts through the side of the bumper. I think the fitter was a lazy Censored He used an axe on my fronts.
