Just done mine this weekend with autoglym tyre gel and the other plastic bits on the car. Looks much better now |

Anything you use on it will wear off qickly and it will be dull grey again in no time! Gtechniq do a product which is expensive but supposed to be a long term solution to dulled plastics which you may want to look up on google. |

Yes, g technic is the product you need, I think it is c4, you only need a tiny bottle....it is like nothing else I have used before, forget plastic polishes, the g tech properly revives it. |

The main reason that the plastics go grey is because they continue curing with UV light so the oils come to the surface and get washed off. The g-technic stuff works well and I have found that it is much more permanent if you heat the plastic up before applying it - CAREFULLY !!

I tried a host of treatments and then saw a chap on another forum using a matt black plastic paint. I have done the same and it looks good. Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........ |
