United Kingdom 2011 Range Rover Autobiography 5.0 SC V8 Orkney Grey
5.0 SC 2011 Restricted Performance

So after a year and a half of trouble free Range Rover bliss - the dreaded 'Restricted Performance'

Trailered back from Somerset due to the car struggling on long hills. RAC computer stated misfire on Cylinder 1. Car was also stuttering on hard acceleration - presumably due to misfire.

Local Land Rover dealer said it needed a software update - didn't work - same issue, gone back to dealer again.

Ignore the date on the dash - dealer didn't reset the date and time ! Current : Range Rover 5.0 SC 2011 Orkney Grey

So local dealer working on car now.

They want to change the spark plugs first - which apparently are not covered by the Land Rover Approved Used warranty - so will cost about £300 ! Its only done 35,000 they're supposed to last 105,000 !

Challenging the warranty company Sad Current : Range Rover 5.0 SC 2011 Orkney Grey

Having driven the car for a few months and having moved from Sussex to Cumbria - it seems the car has an intermittent vibration. It feels like a brief engine misfire - also feeling like you've gone over a small bump in the road. I'm sure with the engine idling you can feel the car rocking. At 70mph it can feel like there is a vibration through the steering wheel. Both myself and my wife can feel it - but it is so subtle Sad It went the local Land Rover dealer up here - and they couldn't detect any problems Sad
