charge the battery through the towing socket if you've got one.

Am I likely to blow any delta or control units charging by pin 4 or indeed the side repeater? Guessing the side repeater goes through the LCD so assuming no go but the towing electronics is that safe on a trickle? I have a caravan socket and an adapter for standsrd |

I always charge mine with the towing socket. Have a CTEK and the adapter from Martin, via the Disco forum.

Ive done this a couple of times on 02 / 03 models works perfectly without probems.. from memory i earther to the underside of the car somewhere metal, If you need to get in and do not have the time to wait for the battery to charge and or cant get under the car the side repeater/ indicator is the go I imagine it would also work on the 2010.. might have to try it one day... after seen that video above im going to see if there is an option like that on the 2010 tomorrow Dave 2010 3.6TDV8 Autobiography Bas remap, Egr deleted (blanked & via remap) , Cold air intake, Turbo back exhaust, Provent 200 catch can, Banks idash gauge, 275/55/R20 GAP Diagnostics Past - 02 & 03 TD6 And an 1984 Classic |

if you have a single trailer socket with a Black cover to it, then it does not work
