I'm sure Aldi or Lidl had some in last week, and a lot of their stuff comes with 3 year warranty so don't dismiss it as tat.

Karcher have an outlet site. I bought a Karcher 4 which is an excellent machine. The motor is water cooled and works well. Nilfisk are another well recommended brand. 2017 5.0 Autobiography Supercharged

I bought a Karcher cold water washer, within 18 months it was playing up. Like all the Karchers we've had it leaks like a sieve and you have to bang it about to get it running. Doesn't matter in the factory, it just gets used as is now and then. We do have a Karcher hot wash which up to now has been good. Their cold water ones are no better than anyone else's though. If we didn't have it I'd buy Aldi and chuck it if it broke after 3 years. |

I've had two Karchers and both played up. Bought the petrol one from Aldi two years ago and it's superb. Can be used from a barrel of water or the hose and is very powerful. Comes with six different nozzle's. Always starts on first pull. Couldn't praise it enough and it was cheap! |

They were still in stock last week, ring round or do a search and you'll find one. |

The problem with the cheaper Karcher ones is the hose isn't long enough. 10m would be about right. |

You can buy extensions - that's what I did so that I can leave it in my garage and still wash the car with it |

Thanks for the replies everyone. Looked into Aldi, none available on line and they didn't have one at my local branch. Out at a garden centre with Mrs S (my idea of hell) and they had a hozelock 'pico power' kit for £149.99, all the bits, a reasonable looking pump pack and 2 year warranty. So bought it. |

2 yr warranty is good for peace of mind, I went with the K4 from the Karcher Outlet and have been happy so far.

I've had a more expensive Karcher for a couple of years now and it's been fine. I do agree the cheaper ones are no better than any other brand....bit like DeWalt tools.... Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........ |
