Gear stick and ign consol removal

How does one remove the gearstick/ignition consul surround?
Thanks in advance. Made in Scotland frae 'Girders'

Scotland 2008 Range Rover Vogue TDV8 Stornoway Grey

To remove gear stick - ignition on, lever to "D", ignition off, sharp pull up on gear knob to remove. The surround then unclips

The screws at item 4 are under the forward lip of the surround and aren't immediately obvious. The withdraw towards the rear of the vehicle, if that makes sense.

The rear of the the console, beside the rear passenger controls, is held, according to the book, by screws. In mine they were scrivets which I had to pop out.

Hope that's right? If so worth a watch as the bushes are a pain and about £20 a pair if you fit them wrong.. I destroyed mine removing them

If it is just removing the consol then the hinges don't need to be removed. The whole thing comes out as a unit. John
