Brakes Problem!!!

Problem started today - out of the blue.

When braking, all okay at first, then brake pedal goes rock hard and requires great force to keep brakes applied.

Pattern repeats i.e. every breaking phase goes from normal to hard.

No warning messages, lights or bongs (what is it with fullfats.....ext temp low..Bong! Screenwash low..Bong! Brakes faulty.......Nothing! Rolling Eyes Whistle )

Booked into Indie on Wednesday (first available slot).

Any ideas meanwhile? (Be warned though...Numpty alert! Unless very simple it will have to wait for Indie !)

Tim

Sounds like master cylinder or servo... don't drive it unless you have to.... Pete

I don't know about the OP but I had the exact same problem recently and it was the servo leaking. Got one of the bay for £40 a new one was about £300 and took me a couple of hours to change it. If you've got any further questions just pm me.
