It wont be long until it will be a year since joining the FF ownership fold. In that time I have had to call out the AA three times to it, had a door mirror kicked of, been sideswiped and had numerous electrical faults (no mechanical ones so far thankfully). This is more than I have had to put up with in 40 years of car ownership and I must admit I have yet to come to love the car in the way that I have with some of my previous vehicles, but it is still there on the driveway and I am willing to give it another year or three..... I'm a couple of months past my 1st anniversary. Luckily no major probs so far, replaced the FSR & Disks & Pads all round when I first got it. Coming up to its first service with me very soon. Only other thing, the less than two year old battery seems to be on its way out, but thats another story!

The 3 times I called out the AA was due to the battery. Twice whilst on different holidays and once on my drive the battery was completely dead (after standing a maximum of a day). I had replaced the original battery with a brand new one of the correct size only a week after getting the car, but in the first two call-outs to the AA I was told there must be something causing a drain. It was only after the third call out (about four months after the first) that I was told the battery was at fault. Sure enough, when I returned to where I had the battery from and had mine checked it was faulty and replaced. This was last November and there hasn't been a problem with the battery since. My one year anniversary is just 3 days away, never had a FFRR before but took the plunge! I have thoroughly enjoyed driving the beast and there is simply no comparison on the motorway.......However, it does give me a squeaky bottom every time I think something might or has gone wrong

Second anniversary here so it is now 6. Mechanically EGR valves replaced when I bought it and just had handbrake repaired Under warranty. Other than that just routine servicing - was considering changing up but keeping this one for a few years. First L322 12 years ago. Engine makes me smile - happy boy! 2005 L322 Vogue Gold gone
