Great thanks. Would be good to give insurance co a reason why the ones in CCTV match the daylight pictures. Looking to bolster my case.

. Cheers, Greg

And in many cases.....wrong.

It shows my SL as having 6 owners. I'm the 3rd.

It shows the Fatty as having 5 owners. SWMBO is the 4th. It even shows the picture as her old X5 but labelled as a Fatty Rolling Eyes 2017 5.0 Autobiography Supercharged

pretty accurate on my car though the date of the plate changes is wrong, and the date of owner change is also wrong..... but it got the plates ok and the number of owners, and approx milage.

Re the earlier discussion about why wasn't he picked up on cameras with out insurance - the answer seems to be the MID (Motor Insurance Database) is not perfect. I've been speaking with them and they say it's highly accurate but errors do occur.

.

I had this happen to me. I checked the MID database for my Mini and it said I was uninsured. I checked my credit card statement and I had paid the insurance about 6 months before but insurers had not sent me a cover note or updated MID. They corrected their mistakes when I contacted them but I had never been picked up by an ANPR so just shows the database is not totally reliable

I can remember the misses buying a car changed the insurance over but the insurance company cocked up, driving round for 6 months with no insurance.

Checked MID and it was showing as insured so again checked with misses insurance company and it was not insured with them but still on the previous keepers insurance so MID was right, didn't get pulled by ANPR.

Hi guys - no updates... With the Police & insurance co. I could book it in tomorrow, pay my excess (and 5 years of higher premiums) and be done. But I do have uninsured driver cover included. If I wait until the Police & insurance co have carried out some investigations, it can be dealt with as a not at fault claim. No excess to pay. So I'm going to wait to see if that pans out. I've sent them all my detective work, CCTV everything.

I set up the shot on the right to match the CCTV on the left. The comparison proves a very good match IMO. Both cars have the OF copy wheels, also notice the centre cap is missing from the rear wheel on both. Heavy window tint too. Same tail lights.

Do all FF's have mudflaps anyone?

Let me know if anyone can spot any other unique traits.

 Cheers, Greg

They don't have mud flaps or sidesteps as standard....

I'm not sure the colour of the rear door handle is standard either.... 2011 Range Rover Vogue SE 4.4 TDV8

....and you can prove it's an early car facelifted as there is no shark fin on the roof..... and there is the wider plastic trim on the rear side window that the early cars have.... if you look on yours, it's not there... the glass is wider.....

I am pretty sure that it is not actually an offence to leave the scene of an accident, the offence is failing to report it....I could be wrong.

Utter scum bag, how a can anyone do this and not report it, also how can you get away and live with having no insurance....what a fake bloke...image of Range Rover but no money to insure it or pay for his accident.
