something along those lines, when pollution is particularly bad then certain more polluting vehicles will not be allowed into certain cities. Im not too sure how they communicate who and when but there is info on the net about it, as far as I can tell only restrictions so far have applied to band 4 and over +unregistered cars.

Thanks - I have no plans for Lyon, Grenoble or Paris in the immediate future, but do spend a lot of time in France, so have ordered one anyway as you never know how quickly it will spread. My summer is spent in and around Bordeaux and that's where I am right now

The Central London "T-Charge" Toxicity Charge starts in October this year. You're OK in any Euro 4. 4.4TDV8 2010 onwards are Euro 5 What is the 3.6TDV8 ? https://tfl.gov.uk/modes/driving/emissions...his-page-3 Cheers, Greg - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - 2011 Vogue SE 4.4 with lots of toys in Stornaway Last edited by GGDR on 2nd Apr 2017 7:03pm. 3.6 should be a Euro4 car. but the latter ones in the post 09/10 cars may well be Euro5

I live inside the central London zone which is why I double checked earlier.. Also saw that I'll have until 2023 with my 4.4TDV8. Was one of my big reasons for going for the 4.4 over the 3.6 Anyway, that's six years away, so may well have upgraded to something newer by then.

Euro5 forced the 4.4TDV8 into existence. Interesting a few new cars just fell off the market when the minimum std became Euro5. Mazda RX8 some bikes too just got withdrawn.. Apparently it covers all kinds of things including fuel tank breathers. These alone can pollute a lot in warm weather. Cheers, Greg
