It appears most of you have cured the EAS faults, but one thing to remember if your car has the factory tow kit fitted is that there is also a sensor in the towing electrics that detects when there is a trailer plug plugged in and that also locks the suspension when towing - it the spring loaded cap on the socket in the towing subframe has not fully closed you could be getting salty road water in there causing the system to think there is a trailer plugged in - a quick spray with something like electrosolve water disperser and checking the cover has seated properly might also cure the problem. A long shot but in the current UK weather and lots of road salt being liberally sprinkled around could be contributing factor for those who tow. 2018 Mini Countryman Cooper S E All4 PHEV in Melting Silver - it’s whisper quiet in EV and polluter modes |

I would check that the Battery Terminals are clean and that the cables are properly secured. Dan did a post on this. |
