I suffered a similar long term knock over poor surfaces. At MOT this turned out to be the large ball joints at the bottom of the strut. Not too expensive to fix. Taking a rest from Land Rovers for a bit....... |

I had very similar symptoms for the past couple of months and had my MOT last week. It failed on a worn track rod end, I had that changed and the knocking has been cured |

It failed on track rod joint on lower suspension arm. Have now bought replacement and fitted yesterday evening, All seems ok at the moment. |

front lower suspension track control arm ball joint not the drop link, sorry if I didn't make myself clear |
