Why not just refil with coolant and see if you can see where it leaks from ?

Had similar problem myself 6 months ago. AA diagnosed water pump failure, but turned out to be the top pipe from the radiator to engine block had come off. The pipe sits right above the water pump so is deceiving. It is worth refilling and checking where the coolant is coming from. 56 TDV8 Vogue SE

Failing the above - Charles Kenward Bromsgrove does low loader transport - reliable and helpful. Try this guy for the work he is based in Droitwich. Been my indie for years.
