Headlight wipers

Hi Guys
Just come outthe house and noticed one of my headlight wipers is stuck in the vertical position. I'm guessing it happened yesterday on my way home from work when I used the washers. They are frozen as well so a big waste. Is there away to reset the wipers or should force just be used to persuade it back?[/url]

Cheers for that! Does it matter if it's halfway or all the way up?

Hmmm

Reset procedure of pulling fuse 28 with car off not working for me:

RHS wiper works, LHS wiper not moving (stuck at angle of @ 20 degrees from horizontal), no wash on either side.

(Yes, remembered to turn on lights)

No faults from IID Tool I can identify as relating to this....

Any suggestions Question Which control module looks after this Question .

Thanks Stan

Doesn't appear to be anything to fiddle with using IIDTool either with faults or config Sad .

Update, finally tried a battery disconnect on this today whilst doing my new radiator.

Upon reconnecting, the offending headlight wiper sprang into life and came to rest in the vertical position!

So disconnected again, and this time it settled back to normal resting position.

Haven't tried the wash wipe yet, not patient enough to keep waiting the 3 minutes! .

Just to confirm, wipers and washers back in operation after battery disconnection procedure, hopeful they stay that way until MOT in July Wink .

I know this is an old thread. Just adding my experience. I tried the pull fuse, start car, put fuse back in trick but didn't work even after hours of wait. Left it out for over 24 hours and it worked.
