Comments on this thread from NMJ that a genuine one should as it has the digital to analogue convertor - I've not tried it though...... |

Yep it works but would recommend a genuine adaptor. Steep at £25 but they are pinned in the correct way. Some adaptors can only do charging etc, so the safest bet is Apple. Jordan

The adapters work ok - I brought an after market 30 pin to lightening adapter and use that with the LR cable. I have routed it into the double cup holder so all out of sight. easy job.

I have it in my 2010MY and works perfect even for controlling my iphone 7

I had one. Worked ok with an iPhone 5S but stopped working with my 6S. No idea why.
