you have to give those bulbs some kind of resistance, be it a resister or a normal bulb wired in on one side....do a search . ... - .- -.

Hi John, as per the picture and link Stan posted, I had the same problem and sorted it as shown in the picture by using the original bulb.

It was a little fiddly getting a connection on the old bulb and I used a drop of glue to hold them in place but it's been fine since.

And I think I only had to do it on one side, the drivers if I remember correctly.

Hope it works....... Thumbs Up

Thank you , the wine was very good thanks, ive been onto the suoplier and apparently there should have been two extra bulbs that were missed. I will attempt the fix for now but the differance is amazing . Did you aee the white 11 for sale on the naas road ? Overfinch but hes converting it to a two seater but will give the rear seats with the car !!! 2015 4.4 AB

Glad you enjoyed the wine, thanks for the kit...... Thumbs Up

I didn't see the Overfinch, the whole crewcab conversion is gone now but there are still lots doing the full commercial conversion and removing the rear seats for the €333 road tax, and who's to say what would be done with the rear seats once the conversion is inspected....... Shocked

My FF is a crewcab so tax is €333 but I still have all the seats, a quick look at the tax disc if one were stopped would just show "Goods, €333".

If someone were to remove the seats for a complete conversion and then put them back in post inspection, the tax disc would read exactly the same if stopped at a check point........ Shocked

I bought a new RRS in 2008 and had it converted by Landrover themselves, lower VRT and tax, and I was given everything that came out of it, rear seats, mats, the lot, although I was told that the rear seat mounting points had been welded closed to prevent the seats being refitted, I never checked, but all the rear windows were blacked out and I discovered after I had a rear door window broken that it had sheets of tin stuck to the windows then covered with a kind of velour black material.

All very well removing the rear seats etc. just to get it through the inspection and then putting them back in, till you're involved in an accident and someone decides to have a closer look at things and you're found out, probably rendering your insurance invalid.

When I changed to the FF from my Navara I changed my insurance policy to private but I'm also covered for good and business use.

Mines the same, insured in the company name with full goods in transit insurance. The white one was tempting but i would hate to have the worry. There is an overfinch in galway with n1 but i got the vin and its very low spec but has 29 k miles on it.. the sesrch continues:Smile 2015 4.4 AB
