I originally bought 6w LED's. They gave a bulb warning and the light output was rubbish.

V8noise - presumably they dont get too hot for the fitting (I realise they aren't on for very long) /. 2007 Vogue TDV8 with 255/55/20's fitted |

No warnings as they are not LED's
The wattage difference is quite small, and, as you say, they are not on long so I suspect heat is not a problem. 2017 5.0 Autobiography Supercharged 2005 Merc SL350 2005 Disco HSE 2.7 oil burner |

The only camera that you'll get is low light... a night vision camera is a massive lump compared with the compact things that are used on cars, I just don't understand why you lot don't want to fit LED's in your existing units.... I just wish that I could find a cheap source of lights... I could retire on the fortune to be made from converting them Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one! The Reverse lamps are not monitored by the LCM as they are not a legal requirement Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one! Inventor of the 'Guide-o-Matic automatic wheel alignment tool' Former long term L322 owner, Up/Down graded to a Classic Tractor! |

I have a small boy who lives in the boot space. When I engage reverse it sends a small electric shock to him and he opens the tailgate and shines a powerful torch. Granted it's not the best set up but it was much cheaper than anything LR provide Is this where I put the car details and a bit about myself ?........ |

I wonder how big the minimum run would be for a Chinese copier, would be very cheap per unit!! |

The Chinese tend to work by the container load when talking cheap... the camera box is roughly 100mm x 75mm x 50mm... I'll leave you to do maths on how many to fill a 40' x 8' x 8' container... suffice it to say it will be more than ten!! Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

Just fitted the 10w bulbs mentioned above (which arrived fairly quickly) - straight swap - will advise whether they make a difference as and when I've reversed in the dark! 2007 Vogue TDV8 with 255/55/20's fitted |
