United Kingdom 2005 Range Rover Vogue SE Td6 Monte Carlo Blue
To buy or not

Hi all,
Have just been to look at an 05 td6 vogue se.
It has done 60,000 but has only a service history up to 30,000 2 owners. Priced a bit high at nearly 15k
Any thoughts. ??

have a look at some of the FF's for sale here on the forum and that should give you some idea of what prices they go for but £15k for a 2005 is double as said by jonny...

Is it the one for sale at Imperials? I would say for that money you could get a decent TDV8. 2015 Range Rover VSE 4.4 SDV8. 1998 BMW 840 Sport, 2008 Aston Martin DB9
2009 Triumph Bonneville, 1959 Triumph Bonneville, 1969 Triumph Bonneville, 1975 T160 Triumph Trident, 2014 Suzuki Gladius, 1990 Harley Davidson Fat Boy.

Certainly 6k over priced, even if one owner fsh and imacculate with comprehensive warranty wouldnt expect to pay above £9500.. Budget of £15 should put you in a car 5 years younger better sat nav, blue tooth ect and have a comprehensive history.I d prefer a car with older history missing,as its more important to know whats been done in the last few years as oppossed to what was done 7 or 8 years ago. Full fat 4.2 Sc

If I was looking with that budget I would seriously consider this one. Forget the mileage unless you do loads yourself

^ I agree......

That's a much better buy. Look very good for just under £15k... Thumbs Up Thumbs Up

Mileage would average around 25-30k per year which can only be mainly motorway mileage which is what big V8 diesels are made for. It's probably done 80% of those miles at 1000-1500rpm.......so not an issue IMHO.

Give the Imperials one a miss.....they seem to think low mileage = higher value......might have been the case 30 years ago when engines didn't go more than 60k without a rebuild but not true these days I'm afraid.....they're having a laugh.. Whistle

Good luck. 2021 D350 Fifty Edition

2012 4.4 TDV8 Westminster - Gone, but not forgotten
