Dipping reverse mirror

Has worked fine since I bought the car two and a half years ago. Yesterday I fitted a Powerful Uk steering wheel and since then the mirror will dip but not return. I return it by hand but still won't return when drive or park is selected.
I disconnected the battery before fitting the wheel and all the wheel functions work perfectly, getting nice and warm now too.
I have turned off the function but would like to get to the bottom of the problem if I can.

Any ideas?? Not Galway but Balmoral green actually

It depends on the selector switch for the mirror adjustment - I can't remember which way around but one dips and the other doesn't when you select reverse Thumbs Up

It dipped but didn't return for some reason when put into drive or park.

Mine occasionally does the same, dips, but doesn't undip. If I put it back into reverse again then back into drive that usually sorts it out Smile 2004 Vogue TD6 - Remapped Smile
