I love the idea of this feature, but agree that it's crap in practice. I didn't know you could actually turn it off altogether - where do you do that? 2024 Range Rover P550e AB

United Kingdom 2019 Range Rover Autobiography 2.0 PHEV Loire Blue

It's buried in the menus on the instrument binnacle, IIRC.

...it's also possible to disable it by rotating the left steering lever away from "auto". 2016 RR ATB (Kaikoura Stone w/Brogue/Ivory-Brogue)

2014 Range Rover Vogue SDV8 Nara Bronze

Ive tried most of these systems including the Audi LEDs and it was still crap when you threw in tighter bends.

Also does the LR one still only kick in above a certain minimum speed? No good around the rural single track lanes where I live as you could never get enough speed for it to activate leaving you floundering in the abiss.

Great idea in theory, but the tech isn't there yet. '14.5 SDV8 Nara Bronze for sale

Isn't that the switch that turns the lights on automatically when it gets dark? 2024 Range Rover P550e AB

It was also rubbish in the L322

It was good at the time but compared to today's tech and other vehicle's ability then yes both L322 and L405 fail in this category. The L322 at conservative pace in rural areas did well with the high beam assist. It is in the areas where traffic moved quicker and you encountered more on-coming traffic at higher speeds where the system showed it's flaws and still does. https://instagram.com/_.iconoclast/
