That is the same battery I fitted to our motor around this time last year. Bought as new old stock, but nationwide 2 year LandRover warranty. It replaced a 12v 90ah 950A (EN) 7H42-10655-EB JLR battery, part number YGD500130. Best thing I ever did swapping to an AGM battery. Using the park heater twice a day early morning and 20 mins before finishing work, no worries whether it will start or not. This was early last year after fitting it and even more since we have had this long drawn out cold spell starting before Christmas. Never changed the settings/software for AGM from a standard battery. Had the large Varta 110ah 920a, not a patch on the AGM battery, so that debunks the amp hour/cold cranking amps saga. Go AGM, more expensive, but less fear of not starting. An AGM has a better recovery rate should you inadvertently flatten it. Flatten a wet cell battery and you can reduce its lifespan by 50%. Also the above size means you don't have to shoehorn it into the battery compartment. The Varta silver I1/Bosch S5 at 393mm long would not fit into our 2007 TDV8 without a serious mod to the positive terminal clamp. Steve. 1968 Series IIA Pastel Green, nearly there project |

AGM have a higher charge voltage than a normal battery.... BUT, they are more expensive than a normal battery, they only carry a maximum warranty of 3 years, and they have a smaller capacity than the 020

No the Varta 020 is a lead acid battery and has a 5 year warranty, the AGM version is an H15 and only carries a 3 year warranty, plus it's 105 amp hour instead of the 110 Ah that the 020 is Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

The petrol engined cars had a smaller battery fitted, an 019, but the larger 020 will fit... they are the same height and width, but the 020 is about an inch longer Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!
