Radio-water problem....

Hi all
Radio stopped today making strange noises and light flashes as usual.
This time i found water dips inside closet and cables coming from rear bumper side are wet.
Will try to clean both inside etc.
Any suggestions??????

United Kingdom

most likely that you need a 'water shedder' ...contact dan @ duckworths for a price..

also check the tailgate seal as that lets in water when worn..

It is already done.
Water is likely come from under and back of the car.
It had an accdent from left rear by prev owner.
Not well built under maybe.

After plug out-in the fault light disappeared but there is no sound at ignition on,only when i start the car sound is on but low volume sound not going up when i turn the knob.

I stripped contact cleaned dried the amp but the same.
Likely some capacitor or smt is gone.

Does sound system have a protection mode?
Everything works fine instead of high volume.Sub kicks fine too.
Will try battery reset.(tried the same)
