To be honest Dan I don’t have first-hand experience of this so I’m not sure. The workshop manual does give an indication of what view you get of it from underneath :

Your issue above is the transmission solenoids. Replace them and all will be well. |

OK, I reseated the plug and all was well for a day, thanks to Phil's picture above it is obvious the sleeve isn't seated fully as the gap is more like 5mm+

Suprised the garage could push the retaining bracket for the electrical sleeve , 5mm is a lot . Glad you have a resolution to the problem though.

The canbus network connects all the ECU's together, it's the data connection that they "talk" on. When errors occur, it logs the exact mileage when the error occurred. Mine was full of errors along the lines of "Canbus Communication Error with TCM" (transmission control module) suggesting it was disconnecting. |
