Garage (Guy Salmon) first though it was a wiring fault, then the HP fuel pump. They've still not diagnosed it, after 8 working days....... |

When you get a whole bunch of warnings all at once, my guesses would be: battery, alternator, Mechanic didn't hook something back up or reset something from last time. |

HP fuel pump apparently. c£2300 to fix but possibly £7000 for a wider fix (awaiting the explanation anout that - seems to be relatrd to doing more than flushing). Found metal particles in fuel filter. Does this sound right? Also, given the in-tank pump failed 6 weeks ago, are they linked? 17 MY Corris Grey 4.4 VAB

Sounds like pump and injectors may need replacing which could explain the costs Alex
