United Kingdom 2010 Range Rover SE Td6 Zermatt Silver

I did the ski run to Bad Gastein in Austria in my Discovery and it was faultless. Land Rover products are so well designed for the activity. As previously said nearly every other UK car was a Discovery or a Range Rover. I think 50% of the Discovery 4's in England were on the continent...

The SC is in the local LR specialists having suspension bushes replaced, mainly lower arms both sides I believe.

Another local general garage couldn't diagnose it at all, took these guys 2 mins on a test drive to suss it out. If they'd had the parts in stock I'd have it back but it will be done tomorrow.

Good job I've got the D3, got to be in Manchester tomorrow. Discovery 4 HSE

So front suspension arms are done and apparently my front hubs are out of true due to wear and tear and this is why I still get this wobble on braking, so a short term fix is to skim the new discs to make it all true at each end (until the discs need replacing again) and then it will be new hubs.

This can hsppen apparently, glad they have the mechanical tech and know how to do this type of stuff rather than a shop that just wants to bolt on new stuff.

it will be cleaned, washed and delivered in the morning just in time for me to get down to Heathrow. I love the new D3, but I do miss the Supercharged performance.... Twisted Evil Discovery 4 HSE

OMG.

Got the SC back this morning and drove to Heathrow.

That's the smoothest journey ever. The ride is transformed. I can't believe I put up with it for so long. It floats along now.

This is the closest I'll get to experiencing this car as it was built out of the box.

Very happy. Thumbs Up Discovery 4 HSE

I thought it was only the Discovery 3 forum that I was jinxed on, for some reason, no one comments on anything I put there, it's like I am a pariah!

Plus Adam, you did mention you were en-route to Gatwick pal... Most would simply get on their plane and beggar off for the week without a second thought for their “forum buddies”

Adam,
Regarding an earlier comment you made "front hubs are out of true due to wear and tear", how many miles has your rr done? Mine is a 2011MY manufactured Nov 2010 so I'm wondering when to expect the same issue. 4.4 TDV8 Vogue Baltic Blue MY11
