I too was at the launch as a photographer-scribbler for my local evening paper. Here is a copy of the menu for the evening meal ! Still have the white winter coat Land Rover presented us with along with a signed copy of a book by Randolph Fiennes who gave an after dinner talk.

They were all crushed unfortunately. They were in fact PPP2s (PreProduction Prototype, phase 2 => partly assembled on the production line but not meant to be sold on- just tested, analysed then broken down)

I have the L322 pre production Autobiography Black - basically a 3.6 autobiography loaded with every option plucked from the line and the Autobiography Black concept tested on it.

I have no idea if it was sent to Portugal - getting information about the vehicle from LR was difficult as it has what they call an 'internal chassis number', so the build sheet and initial history seemed to be a bit cloak and dagger.
