Very rare indeed, nice one - then again, all the L322s that go in your garage end up as unique ones! |

All Autobiography's are one off customer orders. Of course some look more unusual than others, but basically you could order what ever you wanted from LR providing you had the money. they'd paint them in any colour you liked (from any manufacturer), Flip colours, multicoloured, anything. While you had a greater choice of interior options int eh brochure with the Autobiography program you could get them to make any colour leather you wanted (for a price). It's why it's called "Autobiography" - because like your memoirs you write it yourself. |

Seen a couple that are non-metallic green, almost military green, around Heathrow, which I assume belong to some official body. |

I'd like to know more about the design and development of the L322 under BMW and the Ford influence. It seems the FL1 was the result of BMW dragging or funding LR toward mono chassis. I'm not sure which. ______________________________

There are a couple of book that deals with this, besides a few magazines that have in the past, including James Taylor's excellent 40 years of the 4x4 icon and Mike Gould's Range Rover, the anniversary guide l=Oo\________/oO=l l:OolΞΞΞΞΞΞΞloO:l
