Don't smoke in the car, gave up ciggies just after my mum died (4 1/2 years ago),but I too have a E Cig. Not one of those that belches out smoke like Mount Etna.

Do it here in Oz and you might get fined. Too many bushfires started by tossers of cigarette butts. I have no issue with reporting drivers I see tossing butts out the window. I have the EPA app on my phone.

Don't smoke in the RR (gave up years ago) but do occasionally fume a bit at the traffic stupidity

Gave up ten years ago. Would not smoke in any car now, as others have said the stench hangs around for a long time.

Youngest projectile vomited in the FF 3 times on our way back from Czech Republic a few days ago though... Alex

I've walked away from smoker cars before. Tell tale signs around the window frames and rubbers with burn marks.

The only exception to this was a Saxo I bought a while ago had a replacement drivers seat that had come from a smokers car and hence holes in the covering. It had been cleaned to within an inch of its life but I did also drive it with the window open most of the time as it had no AC!

To be honest the biggest thing that annoys me is that it's still not been made illegal! Almost all smokers chuck the butt out the window so litter and you'd soon get pulled over if you were holding a lit blow torch while driving so why not a cig?! FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

I see many with vape pens in their cars now. Wonder if there are any ill effects to the car. I let people smoke in my ford, burns everywhere. OffRoadRover.com An American Western Range Rover Off Road Blog

It's just as bad as smoking.
Never mind the amount out their using dodgey cheap cells that go poof after a short period of time as they Adler quite high intensity drain devices from what I've seen.

Imo you take your hand off the wheel for anything that wasn't fitted to the car it's just as dangerous and it's always being proved in studies, it's one of the main reasons steering wheel radio buttons came into play years ago! FFRR MY06 facelift With TDV8 Alloys Zeros/ATR's

I am not a smoker but what seems strange to me about smoking in cars is 'do people actually smoke on cars anymore?' Certainly when I started with cars you would see lots with open ashtrays stuffed overflowing with stubbed out cigarettes and people who smoked rarely with the window open. Now almost all people smoke with the window open and almost all throw out their tabs,i cannot remember seeing ant used tabs in anyones car for a very long time .
