Mine does that very occasionally. I believe the sensor is in the driver's A pillar, so hold the key up neat the window and see if that helps. Otherwise it may have gone out of sync. In which case, open the door with the key and resync it. Instructions in the wiki I think. |

Alistair it's a nearly new battery only been on four months |

Ah, that's a problem. Mine did that, but luckily the remote fob worked so I could fix it. Clearly when you get it open you MUST fix the physical locking/unlocking issue!

I have a spare key but it has no buttons and just turns like the master. Does anybody know a good car locksmith in Wakefield |

If as Alistair says the voltage is low across the 3/4 terminals you can make up a cheap adapter using an old 12s plug and some wire and terminal blocks to those terminals in the plug, then connect this to your charger.
