Ok thanks! Can you post a few pics of the edges? I found another one here that seems to be more flush if anyond else sees this post. I am asking the seller if it will eork with the Rovers.

oooops, forgot to add my bits on this unit! All fitted now (apart from possible sub amp for the woofers in the boot, but reasonable sound without).

I have just fitted one of these https://www.erisin.com/erisin-es1053b-7-in..._p446.html and I'm very pleased with the preformance... If I was going to keep the car I would have gone for a better Android unit, but this was to get round a dead DSP amp and dodgy navi.... I also fitted a Digital TV tuner as well, so my ffrr is now better equipped than a standard Vogue. The sound isn't as good, but it is very close, and still sounds very good... If your keeping the car and top quality sound is required then add some passive 2 and 3 way crossover units and an amp to drive the sub... but in all honesty, unless you have a super fussy ear, you'll be more than happy with the result Yesterday I couldn't spell Engineer... Today I are one!

That Erisin is on sale and very cheap indeed, good that you grabbed one.

Think you might struggle with that one in a Range Rover, pretty sure the overhang from the top of the dash would be in the way, it fit's lower in the dash on the BMW...

It's sort of irrelevant if they are 3 or 4G unless you want to have it set up as a stand alone, every time you are in the FF and need internet connection you will have your phone with you, they connect automatically on wifi as well as BT and the units have the mirror function so you can totally control your phone from the head unit..

Is there anyone in the north west that could help me fit one of these. I'm not the most technically able so would love some help doing this. Happy to pay for any assistance and guidance. I'm in Manchester so can get most places in the north west. Haven't found an audio specialist willing to help out. |
