I saw the crane from my bedroom window, doing it's job. I walked downstairs and saw it in that state and got a video of if with the boom still flexing after the crash. If only I'd kept looking out of the window I'd have seen the whole thing - missed it by seconds.

They had to get another crane to pull it down. Thing is, that house is actually two houses and the crane was doing work for one house and fell on the other. Luckily it's a concrete house. If it had fallen on my wooden chalet they'd be paying for a new house.

Today I discovered I have a slow puncture. Pumped up the tyre and the air suspension inactive message doesn't re-appear.....

Bit of a strange one this. Turned out I had two tyres low on pressure - front right and left rear. The wheels, being so old, were a bit corroded and stopped the tyre bead sitting on the wheel. These have been cleaned now and the air suspension in-active message stopped.

...for a while. Remember though how the front left value didn't change much?

So clearly, I was right in my suspicions that the front left sensor was on the way out. Another side affect is when raising and lowering the car, although it goes up and down ok, it takes ages for the blinking light to go out.

Actually, I didn't need an IID tool to diagnose this. Simple visual inspection would show.

The bearing on the elbow had siezed which led to the through bolt failing. I've changed it and it's all working ok. Not done the recalibration yet, but will do soon.
