Quite possibly , this fault on mine only happened a few days ago and I am still trying to understand the system myself . |

There is a recent topic on this subject here http://www.fullfatrr.com/forum/topic3712.html and the lock might just be frozen (mine was). I was able to pull my door closed and then use the locking button to hold it closed. You need to take the door card off, unscrew the lock mechanism and then lubricate with a silicone spray. Re the SatNav - the 2004 was when they changed from a CD to a DVD map - you might be asking a CD reader to read a DVD. From memory there is a small "manual eject" hole at the front of the drive unit. |
