I use this plug in module that pretends your phone is an iPod so you can stream your music or Spotify etc without getting
your phone out. Done via Bluetooth but doesn't affect the phones original connection for calls.

I can confirm the genuine Apple 30 pin to new Lightning connector adapter works on my 2011 VSE.

Thumbs Up

I'm happy to report that the Aux in socket with a cheapo bluetooth adapter works wonderfully for playing music off a phone whilst leaving calls still coming through the stereo.

Also, in another happy discovery I was able (with the help of this site and a certain auction site) to add a remote to the FBH which means a toasty car in the morning with zero effort. This was stupidly easy, just unplug the receiver (which in my 2012 was in clear view and not hidden) and press the off button within 6 seconds.

Thank you!

Interesting what you said

I have a 2011MY and am looking at the remote for the FBH, could you send me the link for where you got the remote?

And also why did you unplug the receiver?

Thanks 2011 FFRR Vogue SE Stornoway Grey

Australia 2008 Range Rover Supercharged 4.2 SC V8 Rimini Red

You have to re-start the receiver to put it into learn mode to program a handset , this used to be done by pulling a fuse but we learnt that after about 2007-2008 that stopped working so pulling the power from the receiver does the same thing just a bit more of a faff because you have get at everything .

Tune to air is like rocking horse poo.

They stopped making them as they didn't have a license from apple to use the 30pin connector. So they had to stop making the wma1000, which is the one which works. Big Cry There is nothing that can't be fixed with a hammer😜😜

England 2012 Range Rover Westminster 4.4 V8 Baltic Blue

Just bought 2 0f the bovee tune2air Bluetooth adapters for my my2012 1200 watt HK, using iPhone 6s, and also one for a friends my2011.5 again 1200watt HK but using iPhone 7, will these just plug and play or can I expect any glitches, using my old iPhone 4 as a iPod is ok but I never get the updates for new downloads as it's sim less, and I find plugging my iPhone 6 in a faff and when it's in the cubby box it restricts the signal, also can I use this I tunes match thingy (iCloud music) through it and will that display on the screen, I don't know enough to pay the extra for this yet, (old people and technology lol) but from what I can gathether it's like borrowing the songs instead of buying each one while you subscribe, but if I can't use it through the tune2air I will not subscribe as that's where Ill be doing most my listening, if some technical informed person can answer my questions I'd be most greatful thanks in advance Berty Bow down Thumbs Up
Oh and will this work just hidden away in the cubby as pics I've seen show it out, that stupid coily cable isn't the best it's a shame there is no way of adapting that 30 pin conector to a Iphone lead as that would solve everything as I always use a lead from the USB to keep my phone charged anyway, wonder if one of these would work

Thumbs Up

Ours was advertised by the main dealer as having Westminster DVD but not they don't have them as standard Sad when i commented I got the usual "meh" from the dealer...

Would be great to find a good way to stream phone podcasts via Bluetooth to the car...

Is this what I think it is? A remote that allows you to heat the car up before you walk out of the house / office? If so, I'm interested.

I've had remote start on previous cars & was disappointed there was no option for doing this in a 2012 L322 without one of those nasty systems that bolts into your electrics, probably voids any certified warranty you have & requires you to keep a spare smart key somewhere in the car (i.e.: security risk).

How do that work? What's the range of the remote? Does it drain the cr4p out of the car battery if you leave it on too long? How warm does the car get (I live in NJ now & it gets Censored cold here - well cold for an Australian anyway Wink

Cheers
Jof
