You have to re-start the receiver to put it into learn mode to program a handset , this used to be done by pulling a fuse but we learnt that after about 2007-2008 that stopped working so pulling the power from the receiver does the same thing just a bit more of a faff because you have get at everything .

Is this what I think it is? A remote that allows you to heat the car up before you walk out of the house / office? If so, I'm interested.

I've had remote start on previous cars & was disappointed there was no option for doing this in a 2012 L322 without one of those nasty systems that bolts into your electrics, probably voids any certified warranty you have & requires you to keep a spare smart key somewhere in the car (i.e.: security risk).

How do that work? What's the range of the remote? Does it drain the cr4p out of the car battery if you leave it on too long? How warm does the car get (I live in NJ now & it gets Censored cold here - well cold for an Australian anyway Wink

Cheers

Yep - it fires up the Fuel Burning Heater (FBH). Have a search on here for numerous threads on the topic. Very Happy Bish.
